Privacy policy
Last updated · 24 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data DTEL collects when you use dtel.io or contact us, why we process it, and the rights you have. We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services.
Who we are
This website is operated by DTEL. For any question about your personal data, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact us at info@dtel.io.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you choose to send us — such as your name, email address, company and the content of your message — when you use the contact form or email us directly.
- Basic technical data that your browser sends when it requests pages, which our hosting provider processes to serve the site securely and reliably.
We do not ask for special-category data, and you should not send sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Why we process it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, prepare a quote or proposal — on the basis of taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
- To operate and secure the site — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a functional, secure website.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who process it on our behalf to deliver what you’ve asked for — for example email delivery and hosting — and only for that purpose. We may disclose data where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that follows from it, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If you’d like us to erase your data sooner, contact us.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability where it applies. To exercise any of these, email info@dtel.io. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services develop. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
