IT services

Reliable technology foundations for business growth.

Six disciplines - support, infrastructure, security, cloud, connectivity and strategy - built, managed and secured through one relationship rather than six.

01Integrated IT solutions

Build it, manage it, secure it.

We help businesses build, manage and secure their technology environments, combining responsive IT support with strategic consultancy to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

Through a strategic partnership with Gamma we also supply the connectivity and communications layer underneath, so the circuit, the phone system and the IT estate are designed against each other instead of bought separately and reconciled afterwards.

01Proactive helpdesk and incident management

Managed IT support

Reduce disruption and resolve issues quickly with an expert helpdesk - the expertise of a large internal IT team without the overhead cost.

Most IT problems are not dramatic. They are a mailbox that will not sync, a printer queue, a laptop that has quietly stopped taking updates. What decides whether they cost the business anything is how fast someone competent picks them up, and whether anyone was watching the systems before they broke.

Capabilities05
  • 01Remote and onsite IT assistance
  • 02Proactive system monitoring
  • 03Microsoft 365 support
  • 04Planned upgrades and maintenance
  • 05Strict service level agreements (SLAs)
Service targetsTargets, not measured results
System uptime
99%
SLA adherence
98%
User satisfaction
95%
Remote resolution

These are the targets the support service is run against. They are not a published contractual SLA and not a claim about achieved performance - the committed figures are set out in the service agreement for your contract.

02Design, Wi-Fi and business continuity

Infrastructure and networking

Secure, scalable infrastructure that adapts as you grow, with a focus on business continuity and hardware lifecycle management.

Networks are rarely designed once and left alone - they accrete. A switch here, an access point there, a server nobody wants to touch. Designing the LAN, the Wi-Fi and the backup path deliberately is what turns that accretion into something that can be extended, supported and recovered.

Capabilities05
  • 01Network design (LAN / WAN)
  • 02Advanced Wi-Fi solutions
  • 03Virtualisation and server management
  • 04Hardware deployment
  • 05Backup infrastructure

03Layered endpoint and network protection

Cybersecurity

Protecting people, devices, applications, networks and data through a layered approach including EDR, multi-factor authentication and vulnerability management.

No single control stops everything, which is why security is built in layers: if one fails, the next one is still standing. The layers below cover the routes attacks actually take into a small business - a credential, an inbox, an unpatched endpoint - and the recovery path for when something does land.

Capabilities06
  • 01Endpoint detection and response (EDR)
  • 02Email security
  • 03Identity and multi-factor authentication
  • 04Network protection
  • 05Backup and recovery
  • 06Supporting Cyber Essentials compliance and best-practice guidance

04Azure, Microsoft 365 and migration strategy

Cloud and Microsoft

Helping customers adopt cloud technologies where they deliver genuine business value, while managing security, performance and costs.

Cloud is not automatically cheaper or safer - it moves the cost and the risk somewhere else. The work is deciding what genuinely belongs there, migrating it without a bad weekend, and then keeping tenancy security and spend under control once it is running.

Capabilities05
  • 01Microsoft 365 and Azure management
  • 02SharePoint and OneDrive solutions
  • 03Cloud migration and infrastructure
  • 04Hybrid cloud environments
  • 05Cloud security optimisation

05Business broadband, leased lines and unified communications

Connectivity and comms

Through a strategic partnership with Gamma, access to leading business connectivity and communications technologies.

Connectivity is the layer everything else depends on, and it is the one most often bought separately from the IT that runs over it. Buying both through one relationship means the circuit, the voice platform and the network are designed against each other rather than discovered to be incompatible after install.

Capabilities05
  • 01Business broadband and leased lines
  • 02SD-WAN and network management
  • 03Unified communications and VoIP
  • 04Microsoft Teams voice integration
  • 05A joined-up IT and comms environment
Strategic partnership

Gamma is a UK business communications provider. The partnership is what gives access to the broadband, leased line, SD-WAN and unified-communications products above - and it is why voice and IT can be delivered as one joined-up environment. Our connectivity and voice product pages cover how to choose between them.

06Strategic audits and technology roadmaps

IT consultancy

Acting as your technology partner, aligning IT investment with your business objectives and future growth through expert vCIO support.

Below a certain size, nobody in the business owns technology strategy - it gets made accidentally, one urgent purchase at a time. A roadmap and a periodic audit turn that into decisions taken deliberately, with a budget attached and a reason behind each one.

Capabilities05
  • 01IT strategy and technology roadmaps
  • 02Comprehensive audits and assessments
  • 03Digital transformation and cloud strategy
  • 04Business continuity and budget planning
  • 05vCIO support
vCIO services

Direct access to executive-level IT leadership to guide procurement, security planning and infrastructure reviews, without the executive salary overhead.

09FAQ

Straight answers.

Do we have to move everything to you at once?
No. The usual starting point is one thing that is actively hurting - support response, an ageing server, a security gap - and the rest follows only when there is a reason to move it. An audit maps what you already have first, so nothing is replaced just because it is unfamiliar.
What does 'proactive monitoring' actually mean in practice?
Systems report their own state continuously: disk space, backup success, patch level, endpoint health, certificate expiry. Thresholds raise a ticket automatically, so the common failures are dealt with as a scheduled task rather than as an outage somebody has to ring in.
Can you work alongside an internal IT person?
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. An internal person keeps the business context and the day-to-day relationships; the managed layer adds out-of-hours cover, specialist depth for projects, and the monitoring and escalation infrastructure that is not worth one person building alone.
Is Cyber Essentials certification included?
The controls we deploy - MFA, patching, endpoint protection, firewall configuration and access control - are the same five areas Cyber Essentials assesses, and we support businesses working towards it. Certification itself is awarded by an accredited body after their assessment, not by us.
How do IT services relate to the connectivity and voice you supply?
They are the same estate. The circuit, the phone system, the network and the endpoints all have to work together, and buying them separately is what produces the gaps between suppliers. Running them through one relationship means one design, one migration plan and one number to call.
What happens in the first few weeks?
An audit of what exists - hardware, licensing, backups, security posture and how support currently reaches people. That produces a documented picture and a prioritised list: what is urgent, what is a risk, and what can wait. Only then is there anything worth quoting.

Start with an audit.

Tell us what you have and what keeps breaking. We map the estate, flag the risks and come back with a prioritised plan - before anyone talks about replacing anything.
